Adam Beattie Launches Crowdfunding Campaign
Scottish Singer-Songwriter Adam Beattie has for the past 18 months been working on is 4th studio album in collaboration with composer and multi-instrumentalist Fred Thomas. Comprising of songs inspired by his travels around France and Italy over the last few summers, Adam describes this newest album as carefully married up musical genres and soundscapes, creating ten beautiful stories.
As a self-supporting and unsigned artist, it can be very difficult to bring recorded music to a release, and as much is true in Adam’s case. On 25th January a crowdfunding campaign was launched on Indiegogo in support of the new album, and in 5 short days has already raised £1,618 out of a goal of £3000!
As an incentive to donate, Adam is offering a variety of perks, ranging from an mp3 download, to a guitar lesson, to a solo house show. The money will be split between £800 for mixing, £600 for mastering and £1600 for printing of 2000 physical copies of the album. Every contributor will also get a download of an exclusive and previously unreleased track that won’t be available anywhere else. Adam plans to launch the album on 11th May in the beautiful surroundings of London’s Hoxton Hall.
