AK Patterson’s music stems from a background in folk and roots music, having grown up learning the fiddle in Cambridge regularly performing at the Cambridge Folk Festival. Her songs tell dark and mysterious stories, described by Fetea Showcases as feeling “like they could have evolved from a deal done at the crossroads back in the thirties”.
