Gentlefolk
Folk troubadour Nigel of Bermondsey is head of the ‘South East London Folklore Society’, a group dedicated to London folklore and the esoteric, and inspiration for his musical gazetteer of London- ‘Gemini City’. As Gentlefolk he is augmented by a four piece band of cello, violin, percussion and additional vocals, his music stretches from chamber folk to psychedelic storytelling, utterly uncatgorisable and all the better for it- a true maverick. Recent performances include the Southbank Centre, the Globe Theatre, and Cecil Sharp House.
