A brand new trio of cutting edge exploratory jazzers featuring: Bex Burch, the classical percussionist who upped sticks to Ghana’s remote North to study the traditions of their balafon, the Gyil; Ruth Goller on bombastic bass (Acoustic Ladyland, Rokia Traore, Normal Gimbel); Kushal Gaya on vocals and percussion (the non-stop incendiary jazz punk subversive from Melt Yourself Down)

BEX BURCH lived in Ghana for 3 years making and playing the Dagaare Gyil. She formed Vula Viel in 2013 and released ‘Good is Good’ in 2015.
RUTH GOLLER is an electric and upright bassist living in London. She has performed with Acoustic Ladyland, Rokia Traore, Melt Yourself Down, Bojan Z and Davood Assad and collaborates playing her own music in ‘Let Spin’, ‘Normal Gimbel’ and ‘Gufo’.
KUSHAL GAYA, originally from La Reunion, known for his former band Zun Zun Egui and now front man for Melt Yourself Down.
