Laura Greaves is an indie-folk singer/songwriter based in Salisbury. Having kept her music a secret for years, teaching herself guitar and writing songs in her bedroom, she finally decided to share her music with an audience and has recorded her first EP, High Tide.

However, starting out tentatively her first step was song writing competitions, and after gaining two semi-finalist awards in the UK song writing contest, and honourable mention in the Song of the Year awards she then decided to try and make music her career. She then applied for the Future Music Songwriting contest and made it to the final where she performed at Dingwall’s in Camden. ​​
​​After recording a demo of her song ‘Initials’ she drew the attention of BBC introducing who described her music as “lovely, sweet and wonderful”. She later performed a live set and was interviewed by BBC introducing in the West.
In October of last year, Laura was asked to support Kimberly Anne on tour at ‘The Louisiana’ in Bristol, which ignited her interest in performing as well as song writing. ​
With traces of Billie Martin and Laura Marling in her songwriting and tone, Laura´s voice is subtle and delicate, which perfectly accompanies her music.

She is now touring around whilst writing songs for her next EP.
