London Remixed Festival
In just under two weeks’ time, the vibrant and dynamic London Remixed Festival (LRF) returns to Rich mix Shoreditch for two days of creativity, fun, and madness. Held over the 5th and 6th of February, Remixed Festival offers performances from over 25 cutting edge bands and DJs across 4 stages, over 2 days, spanning various genres to create a diverse and buzzing atmosphere.
Taking the mud and rain out of festivals, Remixed is held in a single venue over multiple floors. Sporting indoor camping and a disco lift, LRF takes a new stance on the festival formula. Showcasing the best in Latin Grooves, Afrobeats, Tropical Bass, Vintage-Remix, Desert Remix, Balkan Beats, Urban Roots, Acoustic Soundclash and Brass Band Remix, LRF is set to be a highly dynamic occasion.
This year’s headliners include Symphonica feat MR Switch (Friday, Vintage Remix), 47SOUL (Saturday, Polka Club), K.O.G and the Zongo Brigade (Saturday, Tropicarnival), and Honeyfeet (Saturday, Folk Ghetto).
LRF is the result of Continental Drifts/Global Locals (producers of Glastonbury’s Shangri-La stage) in collaboration with Movimientos, Wormfood, Two for Joy, Woodburner, Polka Club, along with newer partners Vibes and Pressure and Arts Canteen.
In addition to live music, LRF also offers Remix Speed Dating, inviting bands, producers and DJs who are keen to make new collaborations. Based on the traditional Speed Date, you will have four minutes to swap ideas with established musicians, producers and remixers, adding to the creative environment of the festival. Also, CM Sounds will also be running remix workshops for all budding producers.
