Niall Moran & The Urban Mitts
Niall Moran is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Co.Mayo in the west of Ireland. He draws on American roots, folk and country influences while writing songs firmly rooted in Ireland and his adopted home town of London.
His songs take everyday real-life situations that might otherwise have been relegated to the mundane, and filters them through a keen songwriter’s lens that elevates them to heroic stories of love, loss and survival.
Niall has been active on the London music scene over the last 5 years and continues to gig putting on both solo shows and shows with a revolving line-up of musicians, the latest incarnation of which is ’The Urban Mitts’.
His recent self produced debut album ‘All City Birds Hate the Noise´ has received positive critical reviews with airplay in both the UK and Ireland.
