“Cream Filtered through Dilla’s SP-1200”
Three Jazz heads who have been playing with David Gilmour, Jamie Woon, Jessie Ware, PB underground and PigBag get to together to throw some stuff down….. SEN3 are Max O’Donnell Dan Gulino and Saleem Raman.
Over a two year residency at the Shoreditch SEN3’s sound started to evolve. They started out playing jazz standards and then moved on to their own interpretation of tunes such as “The Message” – Grand Master Flash, “Smells like teen spirt”- Nirvana and “Ideoteque” – Radiohead.
Soon they had a 5 track EP that garnered enough interest to merit the recording of a full album
Looking up to Radiohead, The Smiths, Weather Report, Miles Davis, J Dilla, A Tribe called quest. SEN3 have music deeply rooted within – Their Ranging musical taste and experiences continue to take their sound to unknown territories.
