Songs from the Sea Featuring rocking five-piece sea shanty band The Salts
Rocking five piece sea shanty band The Salts are a co-operative of seasoned musicians, creating what is fast becoming one of the most exciting and energetic folk concepts of recent times. Fronted by twice BBC Young Folk Finalist, Lee Collinson, these musicians have, between them, circumnavigated the globe.
Support from Chris Ricketts, one of the foremost singers in his field.

Since its opening in 2015 BOAT has gone from strength to strength and is now well established as part of Brighton and Hove’s cultural landscape. In its third year BOAT welcomes 40 different local national and international companies with over 100 performances in the 2017 Season.
BOAT is a 425 Capacity Open Air Theatre in Dyke Road Park, Hove.
BOAT has an artistic policy of open access and hosts a huge range of events including Theatre, Music, Comedy, Spoken Word, Education, Special Events and Private Occasions.
BOAT does not receive any public funding relying instead on ticket sales and private donations.
