Tara Minton and Tristan McCoppin are long time friends from Melbourne, Australia. They met on the Melbourne music scene almost a decade ago and have since followed their own musical paths to London (Tara) and New York (Tristan.) Skip forward to the present day and Tara is one of the leading jazz harpists and vocalists in the UK, whilst Tristan is a highly acclaimed session guitarist and vocalist in NYC. They come together once a year to collaborate and it is always a magical event. March 2015 the duo played a sold out concert at the famous Alchemia Jazz Club in Krakow, Poland, followed by stunning show in December at the Rockwood Music Hall in New York. This August it’s London’s turn and Tara & Tristan are delighted to be bringing their music to the Green Note. Expect an evening of beautifully arranged standards from Cole Porter to Chick Corea, as well as original works by Tara Minton and stories from around the globe.
