Smith & Mighty collaborator, Twisted Nerve recording artist, and a contender for the finest jazz voice in the UK today, Tammy Payne´s career to date has included collaborations with Geoff Barrow, John Parrish and the Bristol supergroup that was TAMCO. TAMCO have now morphed into a just released solo album ´Viva Outsider´ made with the combined talents of drummer Dylan Howe (The Blockheads ),bassist Jim Barr (Get The Blessing/ Portishead ), keyboard player Dan Moore (Pee Wee Ellis, Rodriguez, Marc Ford ) and guitarist Neil Smith (The Liftmen). The album mixes soul, jazz and folk influences with a hazy sixties psychedelia never far from the edges.
