Louella JC and Chris Tymkow

Louella JC is a singer-songwriter. Accompanying herself on guitar, banjo and ukelele, Lou’s songs, often about London, range from angry tales of social injustice through the trials of navigating contemporary motherhood to the joys and perils of a seriously drunken night out, and more.

Born and raised in Forest Gate, Chris Tymkow is a lifelong East Londoner currently living on a narrowboat near Bow Flyover. His songs reflect the canal world, working class life past and present, and people whose own lives have inspired him. Chris also sets the occasional poem to music, including works by Blake, Clare and Hugh MacDiarmid.
