Brendan Hendry & Jonny Toman
Brendan Hendry, LiveIreland´s 2012 Musician of the Year, is from Bellaghy in South Derry. His debut album, Tuned Up, was released in 2008 to critical acclaim. It was followed in 2010 by String Tones, on which he was accompanied by Paul McSherry on guitar and bouzouki and Nodlaig Brolly on Cláirseach, piano and vocals.
His third album, Living Roots is a collaboration with the noted guitar and five string banjo player Jonny Toman from Lurgan, County Armagh.
An immensely talented duo, the music is an absolute joy to hear.
