Germa Adan was born in Les Cayes, Haiti, lived in the USA and currently resides in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Her journey and autobiography have a major influence on her art and musical practice.
Germa creates an ethereal tapestry of rich vocal and stringed harmonies, influenced by the overlapping identities with culture and musical styles. She is well known for her unique use of the fiddle as an accompaniment to her vocals, using delicate yet intricate rhythm and harmonies.
