LosFeliz is the music vehicle for Lucy Powell – a Brighton based alt-folk singer-songwriter who specialises in melancholia, chamber-like vocals & reverb laden guitar.
LosFeliz likes to focus on the art of recording, with all songs on her debut album ‘Ancestry’ recorded in a rural chapel in Wales that her ancestors built, the album is somewhat a peace offering to family old and found. Produced by Kevin M. Johnston (I touched the Undertow, MoonAltar) and mastered at Church Rd Recording Studios (Esben and the Witch, Fear of Men) LosFeliz is music to be listened to mostly in the dark, and will take you to a place where nostalgia and intimacy live harmoniously.
