The Cut a Shine Hoedown Collective will be taking their special brand of Barn Dance fun to a great selection of festivals this summer!

29th - 30th June: the Goren Festival

A packed, family-friendly, music festival with buckets of integrity! Go wild in the wildflower meadows! With the addition of a second stage this year, Goren is looking to establish itself amongst the best music festivals in the South West. All of the acts will contribute to the inclusive culture of the event, not only in their performances, but during workshops and fireside sessions. In addition to the stages, there will be cosy and intimate spaces created for everyone to play (and listen) to music together. Musicians of all levels are welcome to come to the festival and get involved in these sessions.

6th - 8th July: the Rollright Fayre

The small festival with the big heart is BACK for its eighth year! Nestled in the stunning Cotswold countryside, featuring a delicious mix of music and entertainment and attended by a crowd of people so lovely you´ll think we hand picked them ourselves! It can only be The Rollright Fayre 2018. Onsite you will find: Four stages, lovely campsite, locally stocked bars, world cuisine food stalls, healing area, kids tent & activities, craft market, hot tub, workshops, dance, bower ballad yoga, walk- about performers, circus skills, trapeze and much more.... If you´re looking for an intimate and enjoyable festival for the whole family but still want a good knees-up and a bit of a party too, then The Rollright Fayre will surely delight... 27th - 29th July: the Lunar Festival

Lunar is a music and arts Festival set on the beautiful Umberslade Farm Park in the rolling hills of north Warwickshire. Committed to staying small but thinking big, Lunar has families and music lovers at its heart. Above all else Lunar is a music festival and those of you that have been before will know our line-up is well crafted and eclectic with absolutely no space fillers. 2018 will be no different, expect to see the best in Psychedelia, Electronica, Americana, World / Roots and all sorts of genre defying but fundamentally “great” music.

3rd - 5th August: the Valley Fest

Off a little road in Chew Magna, just south of Bristol, up a dirt track lies Luke’s farm, the gate is open for you (you’ll hear Luke shouting ‘get on my land!’), walk across the lush green fields and be greeted with a stunning view of the lake and the valley surrounding it. Now take in the other sights and sounds around you; trombones and trumpets, violins and guitars, drums of all shapes and sizes, glorious voices lifted in song, the stomping feet of everyone dancing, sumptuous smells of freshly cooked organic local food, cookery classes with top chefs, the chatter of everyone enjoying food together with our Midnight Feast and Sunday Picnic, shouts of laughter and surprise at various happenings round every corner, screams of delight of children running free and getting to know the farm animals close up, glitter seemingly falling from the sky, the roar and warmth of the firepits and the hum of happiness all around – welcome to Valley Fest!

2nd - 5th August: the Wilderness Festival

A festival celebrating music, arts, food and the outdoors. Everyone is invited to be part of a community and a celebration. You are as important as the artists who create it. We aim to throw open minds to new ideas and experiences. We applaud acts of kindness, and hope to be the setting for new friendships and interactions. Wilderness has a vast and unique programme that celebrates each art with equal significance. We aim to satiate even the most ardent explorer, with everyone discovering their own, individual journey.

9th - 12th August: Boom Town

Boomtown Fair is a four day festival set in the Matterley bowl in Hampshire, UK on the second weekend of August. Now heading into its 10th chapter, Boomtown fuses a diverse line-up of underground and global music with boundary pushing immersive art, theatre and performance coming together as a living, breathing, fictitious city. Made up of 14 fully immersive districts Boomtown follows a storyline that evolves each year to create a world within a world. Boomtown is a theatrically-led experience like no other with hundreds of actors bringing the film-like street sets to life. Citizens are encouraged to become their inner character and be a part of the story themselves…

10th - 12th August: the Cock & Bull Festival

Cock & Bull Festival is back in 2018 and we’re returning to our beautiful location in the South West to bring you a festival for the mind, body and soul. Proudly put on and raising money for Jamie’s Farm, the charity arm of our family who help disadvantaged young people.

17th - 19th August: the Just So Festival

Just So is an annual, intimate, weekend-long festival – an imaginative outdoor family adventure like no other and the best family festival in the UK. With a love of stories and childhood escapades at its heart, Just So Festival enables families to step out of their day to day lives and into a wonderland of world class literature, arts, theatre, dance, music, comedy and creative pursuits together. Underpinned by the Tribal Tournament, the most bonkers competition in the land, it takes audiences (from bumps to great grandparents) on a unique expedition of mischief and mayhem, to lands full of magical midnight feasts, curious creatures, raucous pillow fights, hidden retreats, top notch food, drink and boutique camping options and breathtaking beauty.
