Wilderness Festival - Traveling Folk Barn Line Up!
As often happens during the summer months, the greatest London Folk Events are not to be found in the capital at all, but in a tented muddy field somewhere.
Yes, festival season has arrived!
This year Wilderness Festival (6-9th August) seems to have pulled off a bit of a folk smasher by combining the remarkable promotional powers of four of our bests and putting them in the beautiful, oak beamed Travelling Barn....
The promoters are...
Two for Joy the outfit responsible for the outstanding Fire in the Mountain Festival, run by dad of the year Joe Buirski.

Woodburner, Dalstons coolest regular folk night run by the extremely talented Theo Bard whose new EP out in the Autmn (I´ve just had a sneak preview and it is predicitably brilliant. It evens includes some blistering harmonica!)

Front Room. A relative new comer to the scene but set to make a mark; Katie Smith started putting on gigs in her Surrey front room and now has her own festivall - Front Room on the Farm.
