A big slice of Jamboree news!
This just out from the team at Jamboree:
Terrific news everyone. Jamboree is now back as a more permanent force for global roots music in East London! We´re delighted to announce that our pop-up home for the past couple of months at 27 Three Colt Street, Limehouse, will now be a home to Jamboree for the next 6 months.
This will allow us to look ahead to building a longer-term program in the true flavour of Jamboree, with our favourite musicians joined by touring bands from around the world. We can´t wait to throw ourselves into this, and hope that you can share the many great times ahead with us at our beautiful new space!
This announcement will be followed by a concerted campaign to enhance our organic reach on social media. As always, we would appreciate your help in doing this very much.
Needless to say, in the coming 6 months it’s really important for us that our organic reach is maximised amongst those who have chosen already to follow us.
If you are a Facebook user, to make sure you receive our updates, which is essential for us, please select the “See First” option after hovering over the “Following” bar on our page here. If you are currently on the “Default” setting, it means that most of our posts won’t reach you unless we pay for the privilege. And even after paying, with 15,000+ followers of Jamboree on here, the chances are that many of our posts would still be lost to you.
So to re-cap – Jamboree will be back as a regular venue through the first half of 2019. The whole weekend of January 25th and 26th, which was scheduled to be our closing party, is now our opening party!
Thank you once again for your support, past present and future, and for oiling our wheels on our journey. Also, a special thank you to Mark and Lorraine Slankard of Urban Bar.
