Allow me to introduce you to this meaningful event…

It will be dreamy, ethereal, ambient pop and immersive intimate shoegaze. (If you love Björk, Cocteau Twins, Daughter, Radiohead, this is your world.)

But the show is all built upon strong friendship between me and @selkiesound :

[ARTISTS INFO / STORY BEHIND]
@selkiesound is an ambient pop & soft electronic-folk artist, a truly ethereal and otherworldly atmosphere she makes in her music and performance. A true hard worker, playing 40+ shows in Japan during her stay within a year, and toured in Chile and Mexico with strong demand. She used to base in Glasgow many years ago.

And I (@marinayozora ) am a dream pop shoegaze singer-songwriter of London-based, who moved from Tokyo. Some say my music is immersive, intimate-shoegaze. I have experiences being on KEXP Pacific Notions, Shoegaze Blog, and I was very grateful when I sold out my London headline show for Independent Venue Week 2026 this January.
This will be my 2nd time playing in Glasgow since last year. I had also played in Manchester, Rome, and Lisbon.
(Fun fact, I am a Third Culture Kid!)

@selkiesound is my best friend in my music realm through distance.
We were always half a world away, but we had cheered & supported each other. And Selkie gave me guidance for my first Glasgow show last year, and I gave her guidance for her shows in Tokyo. (It was thanks to Selkie that I got to go perform in Glasgow last year!)

Being an artist is not at all easy, and we both had been patting each other’s back through many hardships. At one point, Selkie said “If only we can be on the same land and just play.”

And this is the day.
