The Village Hall is situated at the heart of the village in Butt Lane. In 2011 it underwent a major refurbishment with the demolition of some of the old facilities and the rebuild of a kitchen, bar and servery and a storeroom. This was achieved with grants from several charitable trusts and funders and significant donations from the local population. (Full detail can be seen under Refurbishment Project.)
It is the only community centre in the village and benefits from being of considerable size for a small village. It is very adaptable allowing a wide variety of activities - social, educational, religious, sporting and ceremonial - to take place. It is also used for a wide variety of meetings, both for the village and regional conference meetings.
