Paul Beadle is a highly versatile multi-instrumentalist whose four decades on the UK folk circuit have made him a distinctive, dynamic performer. With a background in groups such as Whiteleaved Oak, Splatt and Journeyman, he brings an energetic and colourful palette of instruments to Birdbrother, including flute, mandolin, guitar, percussion, stylophone and more. His long history of performing at major events — from Glastonbury to Warwick Folk Festival — gives the duo much of its rhythmic vitality and rich tonal character.
