Josephine Foster, a folk & art song singer & song writer from Colorado USA. Her work is that of a maverick dreamer live and on record. She has performed in all variety of houses of sound from basements to opera houses and stables. While not performing alone she collaborates with musicians of all stars and stripes.
Foster has many admirers, including Wire Magazine who state that Foster “effortlessly dissolves barriers between herself and her fellow musicians, between music and listener, between language and expression”. The new album “No More Lamps In the Morning”, released in February 2016, is a new folk route for Josephine, a stripped down star-sailor vector connecting heller to high-water.
