A message from Immy & Risa at Green Note

Hello music lovers,

It´s been a while since we sent a newsletter, but we wanted to update you on what´s happening here at Green Note headquarters!

As you know, we´ve been running our popular live streamed shows "Virtually Green Note" for over a year now, every Wednesday & Friday night. We´ve really enjoyed putting these shows together and are proud to say that we´ve broadcast over 100 episodes, each of them featuring three artists playing in the round. It´s been a really important part of this year for us, as the shows have allowed us to provide paid work for hundreds of musicians and some of our Green Note staff, as well as keeping us connected with our community of music lovers, and expanding our audiences to different parts of the world.

However, all good things must come to an end, and we´ve decided that with venues starting to open up again from mid-May, we´re going to stop running these shows on a twice-weekly basis, while we focus on preparations for reopening our physical venue in late June. Yay! :-)

Nevertheless, this is not the end of Green Note live streams, as we have various plans in the pipeline to continue streaming shows from the venue itself, and we´re also in conversations about the possibility of running occasional episodes of Virtually Green Note - particularly for artists from abroad, as it´ll be a while still before travel and touring normalise.

WE´D LOVE YOUR FEEDBACK!
We´ve received some lovely emails from viewers this past year saying how much these online shows have meant to them during this strange and difficult year, which have been really touching. It´s so nice to know how much these shows have meant to you. If you haven´t written to us yet (or even if you have), we would love to ask you to write a short testimonial, letting us know what you thought about the online shows, what they meant to you, and whether you have any ideas of what you´d like to see in future livestreams. This would be very helpful with us making future plans. We may use some of these testimonials on our website and elsewhere, so please let us know if you would prefer for your testimonial to remain anonymous or if you´re happy for us to use your name. Or if you don´t want us to use it at all, then that´s fine too - no pressure! Either way, it would be lovely to hear from you.

Thank you for your ongoing support, as always...

Lots of love,

Immy & Risa xx
