We won The SPBW Greater London Pub Of The Year Award in 2014. This year (2016) ELAC Branch of CAMRA have awarded us Community Pub of the year for a second time.
Off the beaten track towards Old Ford but close to Victoria Park, we are also the nearest CAMRA Good Beer Guide listed pub to the Olympic Park.
Worth seeking out for the quality of our beer. Up to six handpumps serving Shepherd Neame ales and regular guest beers.
There is a single bar at the front which continues on the right to the rear bar with a pool table and large screen for major sporting events, outside is a suntrapped beer garden.
The charity themed quiz night (first Thursday of the month) is popular as are the musical evenings, both live (jazz jam every Sunday, traditional Irish music sessions second Monday of the month) and recorded (from the landlord´s extensive and eclectic collection) on Friday and Saturday.
