Philip Stapley is a singer-songwriter and guitarist whose ethereal vocals and reflective songwriting form the emotional centre of Birdbrother. His music blends introspective folk with gentle spiritual themes, creating songs rooted in love, nature and inner life. Trained in Jazz & Pop at Goldsmiths, University of London, Philip brings a refined musicality to his work, shaping the duo’s atmospheric, dream-like sound.
He originally formed Birdbrother in Sussex before later relocating to the Shropshire hills, where the current chapter of the band began.
