The Hunch is a five-member band formed in 2017, bringing together musicians with diverse influences and extensive experience and a humorous rapport. Their unique sound blends folk, rock, Americana, jazz, and traditional jigs and reels, featuring rich five-part harmonies and skilful instrumentation.
Led by Michael Doonan’s vocals and Uilleann pipes, alongside Bob Thomas’ blues harmonica, the lineup includes Tony Bacon (keyboards, vocals), Chris Hanks (guitar, vocals), and Marcus Frost (cajon, vocals).
Their dynamic performances, marked by crafted arrangements, humour, and camaraderie, create an engaging and toe-tapping experience for audiences…….you will know that you have The Hunch that this is going to be good!
