The Old School Room

The schoolroom building dates from 1777 and was formerly a church school. It has been used as a church hall and for events and meetings for many years. Old Schoolroom was renovated in 2011 and now offers a fantastic Community Hall facility.
The Main Hall, with its original Kingpost truss and fireplace is ideal for larger events. The kitchen is fitted out to the highest standard so catering for functions couldn’t be easier. On the lower floor there are two additional meeting rooms and a small kitchen. The Garmon Room can be set up with a conference table which seats 14 or as theatre style. The Yale Room is smaller so perfect for informal gatherings.
The rooms are available for use for private functions and events open to the public.
