Jim Mageean

Jim lives in Cullercoats and was born in the north east, though the ten years he spent in London has made him well known in the capital. He has a lovely powerful voice and is known for his shanty singing. But his repertoire and erudite knowledge is so much broader than shanties, or even sea songs. He draws on this deep well of songs and knowledge whenever he performs and is always entertaining.
