Suntou is a multi-instrumentalist. A kora player, percussionist, singer and composer from The Gambia. An in-demand and charismatic performer, he attracted attention as soon as he arrived on the UK music scene in 2012. Born a Griot in a 700-year old tradition, Suntou also fulfills a unique societal role preserving his people’s culture in song, music and poetry.
