FAMILY CEILIDH WITH THE DOUG HUDSON BAND (CALLER KRISTA BUBBLE)

The Doug Hudson Band (formerly Hot Rats) features dazzling young fiddle player Matthew English who, at twenty years of age, is already attracting a big following both here and abroad.

As well as concert and festival appearances, DHB, are also a formidable ceilidh/barn dance band provided driving dance tunes with Scott Kirk´s inventive bass lines enhancing Doug´s rhythmic guitar and Matthew´s flamboyant fiddle. Calling wise, Doug has taught over a quarter of a million foreign students to barn dance as well as performing and calling in Russian and French in both of those respective countries.
