The Empty Bears is the fresh collaboration of notable Southend based singer/songwriters, and former Dead City Athletic bandmates, Phil Burdett and Kev Butler, and “She-Bear“ Colleen McCarthy.
Each bringing their own flavour to the creative process and rich vocal blend, they perform beautifully crafted, original, harmony-driven, Folk/Alt-Country/Americana tunes, drawing on broad cross-genre influences.
The Empty Bears self-produced debut EP “Poke the Bear“ is available at their shows.
