Between classical and pop music, Kalliopi Mitropoulou takes us into a hypnotic, deeply personal and experimental world, using as a medium her violin and her voice.
Her rich bio in classical and contemporary music ( London Philharmonic, London Contemporary Orchestra, BBC Symphony orchestra, National greek opera) and collaborations such as with Erland Cooper, William Basinski, Oi va voi, combined with her need to experiment, led her to create the experimental neoclassical duo T U R Q U O I S E with the cellist Zoè Saubat, releasing two EPs ( «Arrival», «T U R Q U O I S E»).
