Cross-genre folk ensemble mother tongues returns to The Rum Shack with a programme honouring their diverse musical origins!

This concert connects our unique musical histories with the landscapes and nature that shaped us as individuals; our lovely Isla has designed some amazing set pieces based on the flora and fauna of each members´ homeland, accompanying a concert full of pieces that celebrate our origins. Expect everything from jazz and bossa nova to Scottish reels and Swedish polskas, all infused with mother tongues´s unique blend of classical harmony and folk sensibility.
