Nigel of Bermondsey has been writing site specific songs for a decade or so. His most recent collections of stories and songs, Gemini City, is a folk gazetteer of London- expect scenes of mild terror intertwined with delicate tenderness.The last year has seen gigs at Cecil Sharp House and a support slot with Stuart Lee among others. His superb band flesh out his thoughtfully composed folk songs with an eclectic mix of guitar, violin, cello, flute, bodhran, shruti, and harmony vocals.
