Marina Yozora

London
Marina Yozora is a London-based dream pop and shoegaze singer-songwriter from Tokyo, known for her lush, reverb-soaked vocals layered over immersive, textured guitar. Drawing inspiration from Daughter, Cocteau Twins, and Slowdive, her music blends intimacy with expansive sonic landscapes.
Her releases have been featured on KEXP´s Pacific Notions and covered by outlets including Shoegaze Blog and Static Sounds Club, which described her as “a new dream pop voice worth watching.“
Alongside a steady run of shows in London, Marina has performed in Glasgow, Lisbon, and Rome, as well as a sold-out headline show in Tokyo. She has also built a growing audience in Manchester through her appearance at the UK´s largest Japanese festival, HYPER JAPAN (2025).
Her headline show for Independent Venue Week 2026 in London sold out nearly two weeks in advance, with a waiting list forming ahead of the night. Audiences often describe her performances as feeling like “a heartfelt and intimate conversation,“ even within a full room.
Having grown up between Japan, the United States, and Vietnam, Marina carries a wide emotional and cultural landscape into her songwriting. She returns with a new single on 29 May.
