Rosemary Wylde

Rosemary Wylde Was born in the outskirts on London, near eel pie
island renowned for the UK’S 60´s rhythm and blues revolution.
After participating in the London protest and folk scene from a young
age, she longed to leave urban life and took to lands on Europe and
Spanish islands to live for some years in wilderness and out of
society. In caves, on land, and on boats at sea, busking and hitching to
move. Her calling was now to reach Robert Johnson´s crossroads
Mississippi. after living in new Orleans for sometime, travelled
through the deep south, living on ranches, performing and writing as
she went, she reached her goal. Now based in Bristol, UK, she has put
down roots in the beating heart of west country folk tradition and is
touring and recording with material written from across this time
