Severn Folk December 2026 Workshop (Bouzouki Workshop by Benji Kirkpatrick)

Severn Folk are thrilled to be hosting a Bouzouki workshop by legend Benji Kirkpatrick (of Bellowhead, Faustus, Seth Lakeman Band and Steeleye Span fame), in the afternoon before his concert in the evening.

This hour-and-a-half workshop will be targeted to intermediate Bouzouki players and will be exploring aspects such as chord inversions, playing melody and finger training exercises. Benji tunes his Bouzouki in the “Irish Bouzouki” tuning of GDAD, so the workshop will be relevant to this tuning.
