Tarren
We’re delighted to welcome contemporary folk trio Tarren to the Live to your Living Room stage as part of our autumn programme of music.
Playing the cittern, concertina, fiddle, and accordion, these accomplished musicians create music that tells a story, and makes you think and feel.
What to expect: Tarren bring together traditional and contemporary folk in a genre the band calls New-Folk, and it’s truly wonderful to behold!
The band combines traditional folk rhythms with modern, tight hooks, creating something that’s truly comforting and yet, playful and fresh at the same time.
About the artists
Tarren is made up of Bristol-based musicians Sid Goldsmith, Alex Garden, and Danny Pedler.
The band began sharing compositions with one another over the internet during the 2021 lockdowns. They met in person to play a few months later, and the rest is history! Tarren has released two albums, REVEL and Outside Time since then, both to critical acclaim.

ABOUT THE GIG
This event will be held live on Zoom, with a remote sound engineer for high-quality sound. Our gigs allow interaction between artists and audiences, so the artist can hear you applaud and you can even have the chance to ask them any burning questions.
Tickets are £18, with the option to pay a bit less (£12) or a bit more (£30) depending on what is affordable for you. You only need one ticket per household.
