TIM EDEY & FRIENDS

Tim is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist who has toured the world and recorded with most of the major names in Celtic/Contemporary roots music. He was voted BBC Radio Two’s Musician of the year and “Best duo” with Brendan Power in 2012, and was awarded Musician of the year at the Scots Trad Music Awards in 2020.

Originally from Broadstairs and of Irish descent, Tim honed his style learning from his father Richard and listening to Ed Boyd, Steve Cooney and Django Reinhardt. Tim’s live shows are a stunning mix of world music, inspired instrumental virtuosity, and passion with a strong Celtic theme and above all a highly entertaining night of musical genius.
