Luke Daniels Trio

The Luke Daniels Trio brings together three exceptional musicians whose artistry and energy breathe fresh life into traditional music. Led by celebrated award-winning accordionist Luke Daniels, the trio also features the fiery virtuouso Matt Tighe on fiddle and the masterful guitar work of Luc McNally. Their sound is a vivid tapestry of traditional melodies, driving rhythms, and inventive arrangements that find their roots in the music of the turn of the century dancehalls in Ireland and Scotland.


The trio are based in Scotland, and hail from England, Ireland, Scotland and Trinidad. Drawing on deep roots in the folk traditions their collaboration embraces a modern musical spirit, influenced by the celtic diaspora both sides of the Atlantic. Each member of the Luke Daniels Trio is widely respected in the folk world for collaborations, recordings, and performances across international stages including Glastonbury, Philadelphia and Celtic Connections.
