The legendary Bull´s Head in Barnes, sometimes called the suburban Ronnie Scott´s, is approaching its 58th anniversary. Named as one of the 12 venues which had made the most important contribution to live jazz in the UK, the renovated Jazz Room recreates the special atmosphere of the old iconic jazz clubs of the past, where the stage and the audience are close enough to share an immediate intimacy as the musicians perform their musical magic. Among many of the world´s most famous names who have played and continue to play at the Bull both from the UK and abroad are Coleman Hawkins, Tubby Hayes, Blossom Dearie, Jamie Cullum, Humphrey Lyttleton, Ben Webster, Stan Tracey, Jimmy Witherspoon, Mick Jagger, Shakatak, Dick Morrissey, Ronnie Scott, Claire Martin, Jim Mullen, Alan Barnes, James Torme, Zeetah Massiah, Maggie Bell, Peter King, Beverley Skeete, Art Themen, Mari Wilson, Sarah Jane Morris and Antonio Forcione to name just a few.
