Bass, violin drums and singing. Their songs to date are written by Serafina Steer and indeed, they were going to be a new serafina steer album until Sarah and Jenny´s full powers triangulated the whole collaboration and BAS JAN was born. In late 2017 after a series triumphant knock out performances and recordings Sarah left the band to have a baby and Jenny decided it was time to move on. Bas Jan´s Bas Jan EP is currently being released. (´No Sign´ has been a hit with no lesser figure than Marc Riley) . Serafina is brewing a new version of the band with Emma Smith and Rachel Horwood.
