Brown Wimpenny are young singers of old songs and new dancers of old jigs. Based in south Manchester, they wish to share the music of the people and to build a community around it. With four sell-out headline shows under their belts, they have played with fellow trad-curiosities Goblin Band and Seb Stone, and made appearances at Factory International and the Broadside Hacks Folk Club in London.
