As you might expect of a native of Guernsey now living in Brighton, Claire’s repertoire never strays far from the sea. Alongside her own compositions, she gives new life to old Guernsey and other traditional songs. The stories she sings about are sometimes historical, sometimes fictional (expect disturbing twists to the latter!). Darkly humorous, poignant, and passionate in turns.
