David Heavenor is a Scottish singer songwriter who lives in Edinburgh. He has been quietly and steadily writing and performing atmospheric, intriguing and memorable songs for many years.
Composer of over 100 songs, he has been featured on BBC Radio Scotland (Roddy Hart, Iain Anderson & Janice Forsyth shows plus a concert broadcast from Celtic Connections); BBC Radio Ulster; BBC Radio Wales; BBC Radio 2 and CKUA Alberta including a solo broadcast on that station.
As a songwriter and performer , his many CDs include: Private: (The Night Visitors); Winter’s Children; The Automatic Eye; The Innocent’s Eye and Fall; also EPs: The Love Song of the Republic; Darling Charlotte, Dearest Jack; The Traitor’s Kiss.
A collection of song lyrics was published In January 2023, David published a collection of song lyrics titled My Heart Beats Like a Dream also featuring the stories behind each song.
