ewe draw on folk, blues, latin & north African music to form lyrical songs whose rhythmic and hypnotic qualities have earned comparisons to Devendra Banhart, Yo La Tengo, Nick Drake and Milton Nascimento.
Starting as a weekly jam between friends, ewe recorded their first music at North London´s now infamous Spiritual Bar, releasing their first single ´The Great Divide´ on the haunt´s label, Spiritual Records in 2015.
They received support from BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio London, FRUK, FATEA and released their debut EP, Edgar Wallace Exchange in 2016.
ewe´s sophomore EP is due for release May 2020.
