It’s based around the idea of life being played out in chapters. As we end one section of our life we enter a new one and so on. The concept of snowlayering over everything we currently know, allowing us to start afresh. With the hopes of 2021 being a better year than 2020.The song was born out of Holly’s experiences in life. Of her finishing up with memories of the past and entering brand new chapters. She notes she was playing a lot of videogames at the time and compares the concept to reaching the next save point in a game. The whole track was written and produced by Holly. She was able to launch the song onto the global music scene through a kick starter campaign that she organized to fund the release. She plays piano, guitar and sings in an emotional, heartfelt way. The song was quite the anomaly as she lives in Mallorca where it very rarely snows. By complete chance, the three days they set apart to film the video it snowed! The up and coming songwriter has always paid her bills through music. It’s more than just a hobby for her. It’s her livelihood. The singer scored a big record deal with “Mercury Records” when she was in her teens. Though her career slowed down a little and she ended up performing as a musician on a classic yacht. Now older and a little wiser, she’s truly honed in on her signature sound. Her song “Changeling” has even made her one of the top six finalists in the UK Songwriting Contest. Throughout the lockdown she has been performing live via live streams to keep her dedicated fans entertained. With this single due and a stunning music video, it’s easy to see that Holly is well on her way to making a major mark on the music scene!
