Jim McAteer is a guitarist and singer from the musical city of Glasgow in Scotland. Previous gigs include support slots for Martin Carthy, Wiz Jones, Davey Graham, Robin Williamson, Mike Heron and John Renbourn, as well as appearing in his own right at international venues from New York to Kazakhstan. He runs a number of weekly open mics in Glasgow and promotes and comperes many live gigs, showcasing local unsigned musical talent as well as international touring acts.
