MAPS is James Chapman.
MAPS released critically lauded debut album ´We Can Create´ in 2007 and was shortlisted for the prestigious Mercury Music prize.
2nd album ´Turning the Mind´ (2009) was seen by The Observer as “a masterpiece that stands with the best.”
MAPS released his 3rd album ´Vicissitude´ in 2013, described as “10 tracks of soul-baring introspection swathed in layers of rich reverb, icy chill and ephemeral echoes of 30 years of synth pop” (Clash).
