Martha Paton is a South London-based singer and writer of chocolate-box songs about the city, suburbia, and, in her own words, ´how f**ked we all are´. Born in Hampshire and raised on the pop excesses of the 90s and early 00s, she found her metier in a set of folk and country-infused songs she styles ´Briticana´ that take their musical cues from Laura Marling, Regina Spektor, Margo Price and First Aid Kit.

“We were hooked on this from first listen which is why it’s also our Song of the Day.“ - Folk Radio UK

“...a beautiful slice of country and folk-infused pop“ - Record of the Day

Genre: Contemporary folk,Country
